Take every curve in stride knowing that with Mazda Protection Products (MPP) Tire & Wheel (T&W) protection, your vehicle’s tires and wheels are covered in the event of damage from eligible road hazards.1

Available options include:

 

  • Platinum - Tire & Wheel Protection only
  • Platinum Plus - adds Paintless Dent Repair and Windshield Repair
  • Key Replacement Protection - can be added to Platinum or Platinum Plus plans, or purchased as stand-alone coverage separately

Benefits

  • Quality parts and services: We cover eligible damages caused by an operational or structural failure due to a defect in material or workmanship.
  • Tire replacement: We'll replace your tire if it becomes damaged by eligible road hazards such as nails, broken glass, tree limbs or a pothole.
  • Wheel replacement: If your wheel is damaged by a covered road hazard and fails to hold a seal with your new tire, we'll replace it.
  • Continued Coverage: With no limit to the number of covered structural damage claims, coverage for replaced tires continues during the term of the agreement as long as they meet your vehicle manufacturer's size specification.

 

 

Plan Details

Tire & Wheel Protection is available for new, Certified Pre-Owned and pre-owned Mazdas at time of lease or purchase.

Tire & Wheel Protection has no limits to the amount of structural damage claims during the time of your agreement. Coverage includes costs related to the replacement of your vehicle's tires or wheels due to defect of materials or workmanship, damage due to eligible road hazardsand costs3 associated with mounting, balancing, valve stem(s), disposal/environmental fees and taxes. You'll also enjoy continued coverage on replacement tires as long they meet manufacturer's size specifications.

For eligible claims you will receive up to $100 per claim for the towing costs to the nearest authorized dealer or the costs to change the damaged tire with your spare tire.

Coverage can be transferred once, at no cost, from the original owner to a private party; this excludes dealers.

  1. Tire & Wheel Protection covers damage caused by conditions defined as eligible road hazards which affect the performance of the tires/wheels as a result of the tire failing to hold air, or the wheel failing to seal with the new tire; such failures may prevent the maintenance of the manufacturer’s air pressure specifications.

  2. Examples of eligible road hazards are commonly defined as, but not limited to, debris on a public roadway such as nails, glass, potholes, rocks and tree limbs, or any other object or condition not normally found in the roadway.

  3. Reimbursement costs are based on the average regional retail market for a genuine manufacturer approved replacement of or similar tire or wheel.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive protection: Tire & Wheel Protection Platinum Plus comes with all the benefits of our Tire & Wheel Platinum Plan including tire and wheel replacement due to eligible road hazard events.
  • Paintless Dent Repair: Removes minor dents and dings up to four inches in diameter for the life of the agreement.
  • Windshield Repair: Restores your front windshield from minor chips and cracks up to six inches for the life of the agreement.
  • Mobile repair: We'll come to you. Both Paintless Dent Repair and Windshield Repair can be done at your home, at work, or your local Mazda dealership.

Paintless dent repair is a process using specialized hand tools to gently push the dented metal on minor dents and dings back to its original form. Tire & Wheel Protection covers removal of dents within an accessible area located on a body panel of your vehicle no larger than four inches in diameter. Exclusions apply, such as dent repair that would damage the manufacturer's paint or finish. Ask your dealer or see your agreement at time of purchase for further details.

Windshield repair covers the cost to repair and stop the spreading of minor chips and cracks in your front windshield caused by propelled rocks or other road hazards.5 Limitations apply, such as repairs are covered only for the front windshield. Exclusions apply, such as stress cracks or cracks over six inches are not covered. Ask your dealer or see your agreement at time of purchase for further details.

  3. Not all dents and dings can be repaired by the paintless dent repair process. Product covers the removal of dents and dings located in accessible areas on the vehicle that are no larger than four inches in diameter and the repair will not affect the manufacturer's paint or finish. Hail damage is covered up to the dollar value of the comprehensive damage deductible or $1,000, whichever is less. Paintless dent repair hail damage coverage is not available in all states.

  4. Excludes replacement of the front windshield, damage to areas other than the front windshield, stress cracks or cracks over six (6) inches, damage caused by hail, vandalism, or neglect, and damage that, if repaired, would result in an obstruction of the driver’s line of sight. Windshield Repair is not available in AZ and FL. Ask your dealer or see agreement for complete coverage terms and conditions. See participating dealer for details.

  5. Windshield Repair covers damage caused by conditions defined as a road hazard including wood debris, metal parts, plastic, composite scraps or other propelled objects.

Benefits

  • Key Replacement: Replacement of your covered vehicle's key or key fob (remote) if lost or damaged, up to $800 per occurrence.
  • Lock-out Assistance: To unlock your vehicle if your vehicle keys are lost or damaged. Up to $100 per occurence.
  • Towing Assistance: Up to $100 per occurrence.
  • Transportation Reimbursement: Taxi and rental vehicle or public transportation reimbursement, up to $75 per occurrence.
  • Replacement of Additional Non-programmable Keys: Up to $250 per lost key claim—limit three occurrences.2

  • Replacement keys, if the damaged keys are covered by the manufacturer's, repairer's, or supplier's warranty or recall
