The expected delivery date will depend on your title type. To locate your title type, log into the website or mobile app and from the Dashboard select Title/Lien Release Status.  Then select “Title Information” to view your title type.

Paper Titles/Lien Releases: expect to receive it within 25-40 business days (from the date the payoff is posted to the account – this includes mail time)

• Generally, we'll send the title/lien release to you or an authorized recipient, within 10 business days after the payoff is posted to your account, depending on payment method and applicable state law.  

• Allow 15-30 business days for United States Postal Service delivery.

Electronic Titles: expect to receive the paper title from the state within 7.5-9.5 weeks (from the date the payoff is posted to the account – this includes mail and state agency processing time.)  

• Generally, we’ll notify the state of the lien release within 10 business days after the payoff is posted to your account, depending on payment method and applicable state law.

• Allow 6-8 weeks for the state to provide you with your title. 

• Exception: Florida and Arizona generally require the title to remain electronic unless the owner requests a paper title.
