Pete Carey is president of Mazda Financial Services, overseeing all aspects of the finance and insurance business and the relationship with Mazda Motor of America, Inc.

Prior to his appointment as president of Mazda Financial Services, Carey held several leadership positions in the banking and auto finance fields. Carey's broad experience includes sales, marketing, dealer credit, collections, customer service center development, and field services management.

Carey led the sales, marketing, insurance and product organization for a captive auto lender. In this role, he was responsible for over 800 employees in 30 field offices and three regional offices. Carey focused on building relationships with key stakeholders, especially recognizing the unique needs of auto dealers in a highly competitive market.

Earlier in his career, Carey held roles overseeing a wide range of customer and dealer service functions including customer service centers and an industrial loan-chartered bank operation. His responsibilities were focused on enhancing organizational efficiency while ensuring the organizations met the evolving needs of their customers.

Carey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marist College, Poughkeepsie, New York.
